Are we already doing reboots of our own fake movies? Apparently so. But does it matter when we can bring in a model as glamorous and funny as Roxy.... In her debut, no less?!? In fairness, we didn't plan to introduce a brand-new model to slapstick via an epic scene that took over 75 minutes to shoot (!!) with 5 cakes, 15 pies, and a green slime finale (!!!).... But this is what happens when you're passing through town, only have time to film one scene, and tell us, "I'm up for anything!"
This is one that could've gone sideways, as Roxy is a well-established model who'd already been flaked on by a different producer. [Side note: Your loss, bud.] So she needed some convincing to dip her toe--or entire head??--back into a messy shoot. And boy was she nervous.... right up until her first spectacular caking, and just like that she loosened up! (Being blinded by frosting will do that to a gal.) What followed was a truly bravura performance, equal parts great bad over-the-top acting, angry humiliation, and hilarious reactions. And she pulled it off the first time out! Now, I'm not saying that you throw every model in the deep end right away, but it sure worked out for Roxy! SS286: If your debut is only gonna be a single scene, best make it count!
